Apr 9, 2014. Oddometer: 96. I have the same issue with my 1190 - red coolant in the system and I have purchased The recommended M5 which is blue. I spoke to KTM UK who said the red coolant is Motorex M3, and the M5 is OK to use with the M3. I also spoke to a couple of dealers who said the same.
My T7 vs my sons KTM SuperDuke 1290r reliability. Both less than a year old. My T7 zero problems, the 1290r has a head leaking oil. Going in for warranty work tomorrow. Hopefully you are on road when it fails, (close to a tow) It’s practically impossible to push a big adventure bike very far off road. I told him to stay away from KTM.
